Our purpose is to create a low cost form of Club Pylon Racing with minimum rules and expense to its participants while meeting AMA Competition Regulations: "2010-2011 Rules Governing Model Aviation Competition in the United States" including speed restrictions and distant setbacks for this type of racing.
- Q-25 rules have been written as a guideline for this class of entry level sport pylon racing and are based on the AMA's Event 424 rules.
- Electric Formula One (EF1) is considered an entry level, NMPRA, class. The NMPRA rules can be located on the left menu (EF1 Pylon Rules).
Our Goal is to encourage sport pilots to participate in entry level pylon racing; with rules desined to keep costs down and avoid wide differences in speed among contestants. Also, to make this a fun event where a pilot's flying skill, and how they fly the course(s) should make the difference, NOT an engine or special equipment. |
