Thunderbird Field is locate on the western shore of Lake Benbrook about twelve miles form downtown Fort Worth, Tx. It is reached by exiting from State Highway 377 about two and a half miles southwest of Interstate 20.

Turn left, continue to the VFW site |
and turn left onto the lake road. |
When coming from downtown or east Fort Worth, take I30 WEST to 183 (Altamere) south to 377. From south Fort Worth, take I20 west to 377. From DFW airport, take 183 west to 121 to I35W south to I30 west to 377. From west of Fort Worth stay on I20 east to 377.
