All applicants and current members must have an AMA membership to either become or continue to be a part of the Fort Worth Thunderbird Radio Control Association, Inc. You can Join/Renew your AMA membership by clicking here.
Membership Types: Individual, Family, Associate
Individual
- Is a single membership which has all rights and privileges. The annual dues are $100.00 per calendar year. ONLY New members joining after July 1 will pay a minimum $50.00 for the remainder of the year. All recurring members DO NOT get a price discount, and have to pay the full dues.
Family Member(s)
- Is a family membership which has all rights and privileges. Limited to two (2) votes per membership. Consists of a primary member, spouse and children. A child is defined to be 18 years of age or younger. All Associated family members must reside in the same household as the primary member. The annual dues are $110.00 per calendar year. New members joining after July 1 will pay a minimum $55.00 for the remainder of the year. In addition, only a primary member is allowed to hold an association officer position.
Associate Member
- An associate membership has no voting rights, and in order to be considered for an associate membership the primary applicant's residence must be greater than 50 miles from the flying site at Benbrook Lake. the annual dues are $50.00 per calendar year. There is no price break for applying after July 1.

Payments
- Can be made on our website through PayPal after completing the online application below. There is a slight increase of your membership dues if paying online in order for us to cover PayPal expenses.($1.80-$3.49). If you would like to pay by check instead please make it payable to the Fort Worth Thunderbirds. You are allowed to pay by check if submitting your application online. Simply choose the radio button next to Preferred Payment Method entitled Check. Please confirm this on the page in which you will be redirected to after submitting your form.
